About This Collection
“The Splash Collection” is a masterclass in digital physics and colour. Each of the nine pieces captures a chaotic, beautiful moment of liquid splashing, frozen in time with mathematical precision. The collection features a range of stunning colourways, including:
- Monochrome (Black & White): Sleek, modern, and dramatic.
- Red: Bold, passionate, and energetic.
- Pink: Vibrant, playful, and contemporary.
- Yellow: Bright, optimistic, and warm.
The remaining five colours are: blue, cyan, green, orange, purple
When displayed together, they create a spectacular, high-energy gallery wall that commands attention. Displayed individually, each piece is a striking statement of modern digital art.
The Artisan Process: 3D Physics and Precision
This collection is a true testament to the evolution of digital art and is not AI-generated.
Duncan Young created these pieces using 3D modeling software (Blender). By simulating the real-world physics of fluids and surface tension, he was able to freeze the exact moment a splash occurs. The lighting is then meticulously rendered to highlight the glossy, liquid textures and the dynamic movement of the droplets. It is the digital equivalent of high-speed photography, allowing for perfect control over colour and composition.
