What am I permitted to do with the printable artwork download once I have purchase it?

You can use it as much as you like for your own PERSONAL use. For example, you can print and frame it and display it in your home. You can even print it on upholstery such as cushions. You can’t sell it and you can’t share it with your friends.

You can also print and display it on your business premises as limited commercial use art. In simple terms this means you can only print and display it ONCE per purchase. So, if you want to display it in three rooms/ locations you need to download the printable art 3 times – easy as that!

Can I incorporate your Printable Artwork onto my Merchandise?

Most of our printable artworks also enable you to purchase a commercial license in addition to the printable art download. This commercial license allows you to incorporate our art on your merchandise up to a specified quantity.

Do you supply physical versions of the Artwork?

Yes we do. We supply premium quality prints for many of our artworks which you can find in our mailed print shop. These artworks are printed on demand in your country with sustainable materials to minimise our carbon footprint. If there is a print you like and we don’t have a physical version which suites your needs then please contact us.

How big can I print the artwork?

In most cases you can print our artwork as large or as small as you need. We give you the aspect ratios and print size examples (up to the maximum size) for each product. The maximum size is the high resolution size you can print up to without any loss in quality for close up viewing. If you are viewing the artwork from a distance then you can print even larger!

As an example. If the artwork you like states it can be printed up to 45 inches by 30 inches then you can print it small, e.g. 15 inches by 10 inches, or pretty much as large as you like! Check out our article which provide more details on how large you can print your printable artworks. Please contact us if in doubt.

How large are the files?

File sizes vary and are as large as they need to be for a high resolution image.

How many times can I download the file?

You can download the file up to 3 times and store it safely on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or storage device to use as many times as you like. The download link lasts for 3 days to give you plenty of time to download the artwork onto your computer.

When do I get the file?

After payment you will be automatically taken to a web page with the download link for your printable artwork. In addition, you will receive an email with a unique link to your high resolution printable artwork file.

What do I get when I make a purchase?

A high resolution JPEG file. Some images comes with several files and some of them may be zipped.

Do you store my payment details?

No. Your payment goes directly through a secure payment provider.

Will the digital watermark be removed?

Yes. You will not see the digital watermark on the printable artwork file you download. There will be a hidden digital mark which helps us detect copyright theft but this is not visible to the human eye.

I have paid and I have not received my file link.

If you are not taken to a web page with the download link for your printable artwork you should still receive a link by email. Please check your spam folder and double check you’ve typed in the correct email. If you have not received a link within 15 minutes, please contact us and we will sort out the problem.

If I am not happy with the artwork do you give refunds?

Mailed Prints

Our Mailed Prints are “Made to Order”. If your print is damaged you may return it within 30 days from the date of purchase. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will issue a full refund for the purchase price.

Printable Art/ Digital Prints

You can request a refund within 30 days of your purchase, as long as you have not downloaded the digital file. To request a refund, please contact us at enquiries@downloadartwork.com with your order number and the reason for your request. We will process your refund as soon as possible.

Do you watermark my artwork?

We watermark all artwork which is displayed at a resolution where we believe the image could be printed and enjoyed as wall art without purchase.

What do I need to upload to your portal?

You need to upload a JPEG image. The file size needs to be as large as possible (in it’s original native format). The maximum reprint size of the artwork you provide will be divided by 300 to calculate the largest print size in inches. For example, if your artwork is 3000 pixels by 4500 pixels the maximum reprint size we will show would be 10 inches by 15 inches.

How much do you pay me for my artwork?

We pay 60% on each sale. Download Artwork covers all commercial and selling costs.

Am I locked into you with all of my artwork?

Absolutely not. You are only locked into selling artwork which you upload to our portal.

Can I still sell hard versions of my Artwork if Download Artwork distributes my product digitally?

Absolutely. We encourage you to continue selling hard copies of your artwork. Digital files are additional income to the “traditional method” of selling your artwork.

Can you sell my artwork as an NFT?

No we do not create, mint or trade NFTs.
