About This Collection
This set is a visual representation of a partnership.
- “Me” (The Green Hue): Features a swirling vortex of vivid greens, golds, and browns, representing growth, energy, and the artist’s personal journey.
- “My Rock” (The Red and White Hue): Features a brilliant burst of vibrant reds, whites, and blues, representing strength, passion, and unwavering support.
When displayed together, they create a stunning, harmonious balance of colour and emotion, telling a story of two individuals who complement each other perfectly.
The Artisan Process: Digital Layering & Light
These are not AI-generated images. Every piece in the Luminous Art Collection is a masterful digital composition created by Michael Paul Bennett.
The process begins with original photographic elements—in this case, personal photographs of the artist and his wife. Using Adobe Photoshop, Michael converts the images into Smart Objects and begins a meticulous layering process. He applies the Mezzotint filter—which includes long strokes—alongside distortion techniques like Twirl to create a rich, textured base. Next, he adjusts the colour balance of these individual layers and changes their blending types. Finally, Michael takes the artwork into Adobe Lightroom to deep-dive into the shadows, achieving that signature deep black background and vibrant colour pop.

For The Curator, the personal story and the striking colour contrast make this a sophisticated and emotional acquisition. It demonstrates an appreciation for art that carries deep, human meaning.
